Genocide Studies – Legal and Historical Analysis of the Holocaust in the Visegrad Countries Description of the Course The course will examine the history of the Holocaust within a multi-contextual legal comparative approach in the Visegrad countries: Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland. This interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary course incorporates impulses from legal history, as well as from the social sciences. It will revolve around four major subject matters. 25.09.2017 – Faculty of Law (University of Sarajevo), in cooperation with Humanity in Action BiH organized a book launch of the first Holocaust reader in Bosnian language. The reader titled „Holocaust in Visegrad Group countries“ is a compilation of academic articles and essays by prominent Holocaust scholars dealing with the issue of Holocaust in Eastern Europe. A guest lecture by Prof. Pavel Barša, Ph.D, from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic) will take place at the Faculty of Law UNSA on May 4th and 5th 2017.
